With a mission statement like "create adventure," this scrappy little shop has a heart of gold. Project included the relocation of FERAL Denver's mothership. Refurbishment of the historic neon sign is pending additional funding.
With the elation of opening a second shop in Idaho Springs just behind, the spring of 2018 brought startling news. FERAL would be losing their beloved bungalow. The mothership. The funky little place in the neighborhood they had called home for two years.
Thankfully, even though they were losing their building, they wouldn’t be loosing their home. Their landlord believed in their mission and business enough to help find a new space on Tennyson Street, a century-old theater three blocks south. But that was only half the battle. They needed to raise money to repurpose the interior, home to Flesher-Hinton Music for 50 years.
Through a 2018 Indiegogo Campaign, over $100,000 was raised by the local community to fund build-out costs.  Completion of this project was a barn raising; built, owned, and loved by the Berkeley Neighborhood of northwest Denver.
